If you would like all of the audio shows of Super Happy Anime Fun Time on DVD we are asking for a donation of $10. If you donate more then $25 we'll throw in something special with the DVD.
So I was hanging around the other day and got sent a link to a site selling USB flash drives that resemble the Lancelot key in Code Geass and I thought that was pretty darn cool.
The best the US can do for USB drives that look like something else is lego blocks or some other useless crap. Looks cool but going for a hefty ¥9,240 or about $83. If you got the big bucks to go out and get one of these go for it!
Thanks to the Extralife chat room community for bringing this little nugget to my attention.
Early episode this week since Chris is out of town for the week. However, we have next weeks show all planned out and its a doozy. Gene will still be around for a live feed the normal time(7pm Eastern) right here on the blog in order to fill the void of our normal live show.
This week we talk about some old favorites that we have gone back and watched, reaffirmed Matt’s alive status(we were watching old anime WITH him) and our adventures at a Benehana style Japanese Steakhouse.
In the random of anime stuff for this week we talk about a Blu-Ray Animatrix, Pet Cosplay, Samuel L Jackson’s thoughts on the live action Afro Samurai, and a Gurren Lagann manga release.
We wrap up with release spotlight, talking about how the various box sets stack up this week, a review of whats on TV and all the old, lame useless jokes and bleep outs you can handle.
Join the fun, won’t you?!
Big thanks to Clint and other fine contributors who make this show better in their own unique and awesome ways!!
Need some more balls in the bath?
Well this ball not only adds just that problem but also displays the galaxy or if you flip it around it projects images of roses into the tub.
We want to have a show next week. We really, really, really do. However, Chris is going to be out of town. So we have some ideas on how to make it happen…
1) Gene and Angelo do a normal show without the mixer or awesome mics we usually use.
2) We prerecord a show earlier in the week devoid of any news thats going on(which probably there will be none). We would more then likely throw in release spotlight and two or three recommendation reviews.
3) We do a show with stuff sent in by the ever popular SHAFT community. Emails, voicemails, segments and/or anything you would like to send in to the program. It’d be a show that revolves around our awesome listeners!
So, let me know what you think. I think 3 would be amazingly cool. 2 would be good too if you don’t mind a rambling review show. 1 is a cop out… we’d do it but probably not as well without the cool equipment.
If I get enough material from everyone, 3 would be the choice we go with.
