Sadly enough shortly after we took a break from normal production, we have to take another one. Due to an unforeseen injury to Chris, we are unable to record our normal podcast. Chris is on his way to a speedy recovery, however we will attempt to press on with SHAFT Light.
While we do SHAFT Light this time around it will just be myself and Angelo at the helm. Sorry again to our upcoming guests however, once we’re back we hope to have you on.
Thanks for sticking with us and sorry again for the break in production.
We forgot to post up the video from the new years thing we did. Unfortunately all we recorded was two rounds of Apples to Apples with Chris playing for the chatroom. We blame Matt for all his slowness, otherwise we’d have probably done more. Well there is always next year. Videos after the break.
We talk about Chris’ complete reversal on Ken Akamatsu, Gene and Erin’s enjoyment of Slayers, our new Full Series Review and the chatroom!
From there we went into our main topic of anime new years resolutions. What did the SHAFT crew resolve to do this new year anime wise? Watch more hentai? Collect more stuff? Get glomped 50 times in 3 minutes? You’ll have to listen to find out. From there we talked a little about the Funimation licenses.
To bring us home we reviewed Shakugan no Shana. This very wonderfully beautiful series is pretty to look at but its very abstract slant on the netherworldly and shonen style may turn you off a bit. Along with its over the top music and lengthy exposition you might want to avoid this unless your a fan of beautiful fights or enjoy a series like Fate/Stay Night or Bleach a lot.
Greetings and Happy New Years to all. My New Years Resolution is to make sure i have at least one post a week on the SHAFT website so enjoy!
In this current World of Next Generation Gaming, there is still some Jewels left on some of the older consoles. The Game is Persona 4, and it is great. It is just $40 at your local Video Game Retailer and there is nothing but awesome for this game.
