Thought I’d go for something funny this time around. And there aren’t enough AMV’s using parts from musicals(with the exception of some AMVs to Avenue Q) so here’s a little something funny and musical!

Thats right the acid trip kids movie that premiered back in 2008 is in the news again, and its up for the infamous ‘Razzie’ award. The Razzie is awarded to the worst the motion picture industry has to offer. However, there is stiff competion as Speed Racer is also up against Disaster Movie, Meet the Spartans, High School Musical and Meet Dave(to name a few).

Speed Racer came out in May 2008 to a ho hum set of reviews and a lot of flak. However this was the first anime to live action feature to hit the US in this century and garnered press simply on that note. If you want to hear what we thought about Speed Racer, listen to our review in Episode #65.

Just to let everyone know we had some difficulties recording new SHAFT Light episodes.

So we decided that were going to have to hold off any new episodes until February 3rd, yes that’s a Tuesday which will be or new recording day.

So its been a while… you know… since we’ve done an AMV Alert!. I think its because we keep forgetting… I’m not sure but I’ll get back to you. So i’m doing a cop out… again. WoW fans will like this. Most people won’t. However, it is a well put together AMV with the lip syncing and fairly useful imagery. So enjoy.

Sadly enough shortly after we took a break from normal production, we have to take another one. Due to an unforeseen injury to Chris, we are unable to record our normal podcast. Chris is on his way to a speedy recovery, however we will attempt to press on with SHAFT Light.

While we do SHAFT Light this time around it will just be myself and Angelo at the helm. Sorry again to our upcoming guests however, once we’re back we hope to have you on.

We forgot to post up the video from the new years thing we did. Unfortunately all we recorded was two rounds of Apples to Apples with Chris playing for the chatroom. We blame Matt for all his slowness, otherwise we’d have probably done more. Well there is always next year. Videos after the break.
