As you might have noticed the number of blog entries have increased through the week… aside from entries into show notes. Well, thats because we thought why make you wait a week to hear from us.
Why not do reviews, anime news, and other stuff through out the week. So thats what we’re gonna do. Fill up the blog with some of the more interesting bits of anime related stuff throughout the week, that way you don’t have to wait for a show to hear what we think on a subject.
But wait, there’s more. You can help too! Thats right, send in interesting anime images, sounds, YouTube videos, AMV’s, cosplay examples, or even your own reviews of anime or manga! Thats right, we’re gonna put it up. The fans voice is here folks and its your time! If you not only have something for the podcast or something too long for the podcast, feel free to send it in anyway! You will make it up here in blog form.
Wednesday May 21st, the entire SHAFT panel is taking a trip out to Revere MA to partake the viewing of the live action Death Note movie(the first one)! Anyone local enough and interested enough can catch us there. We’ll probably be the group of guys talking into an ipod about what we thought of it at the end.
It’d be fun to get other peoples thoughts on the movie too, so keep an eye out and maybe we’ll see you there.
We have a main topic, we’re talking about some of the hot new anime coming out of Japan this spring. What we should look forward to, what doesn’t look as nice, and other enjoyable bits.
If you have any of your own contributions to the show, animeshaft@gmail.com or 203-599-GEEK(4335) is where you want to send them.
As many of our listener base know, and some may not is the fact that we attended Anime Boston 2008 this year. While we were striving to record a live edition of the program, the sheer number of attendees and total lack of space prevented us from recording one. So….. instead of a review this week, we’ll be talking all Anime Boston all the time, except for news… and manga corner… and release spotlight but other then that. I hope you’ll be looking forward to that for those who attended the convention and those who did not.
Also, we will be putting out 3 more episodes of SHAFT TV. We will be putting these up on YouTube and cross posting them here to the SHAFT blog. These three will once again be containing clips from panels we attended while at Anime Boston. There’s kinda no real intro or ending clips this time in order to cram as much as we can from the convention into the videos. Though you might see our bright happy faces from time to time.
Stay tuned. New normal podcast episode for tomorrow and SHAFT TV within the week. Good times.
The 132 Productions family of podcasts is looking for contributing editors for their various podcasts.
What is a Contributing Editor?
A contributing editor is a person or persons who contribute a small segment to an overall show. They edit their own segment and research its material to have their voice and expert opinion be a part of the show.
Why should I be a Contributing Edtior?
This gives you a larger voice in the show as a whole and allows you to state a detailed and expert opinion to a larger, broader and vocal audience.
How do I become a Contributing Editor?
Send an MP3 coded audio file to gene@132productions.com with either a segment you’d with to have played on one of the podcasts or a proposal of what you would like to do for one of the podcasts. If you do send in anything, please keep your file to a minimum of 1 minute and a maximum of 3 minutes.

Not really a trailer but a preview for Batman: Gotham Knight. Think Animatrix, but for Batman. Expect this fun feature to hit DVD shelves right before The Dark Knight. I am totally freaking psyched.
