So here’s Funimation’s podcast that we were talking about last episode. Looks good and they seem to have planned the updating process well (monthly). Let’s just hope they keep it up.
Thats right the always popular anime series that defiantly hasn’t gotten its US rise is certainly getting a US game, as early as September.
Case Closed: The Mirapolis Investigation will be available for the Nintendo Wii only and will feature gameplay pumped up from versions you may find on the Nintendo DS.
Big thanks to Nintendo Wii Fanboy for the news clip and obviously the original article.
So apparently Vertigo Entertainment(which is not the Vertigo relating to DC Comics) is working on a US adaptation of Death Note. It is not confirmed what type of adaptation will take place but we’re questioning the ability of America to screw up a perfectly good thing.
The production notes for the recent horror films Shutter and The Strangers both reveal that America’s Vertigo Entertainment is developing a remake of the Death Note franchise and has hired Vlas and Charles Parlapanides to write the screenplay.
Bandai in its infinite wisdom to make themselves a continued running gag with us has announced a peculiar license Eiga de T?j?! Tamagotchi Doki Doki! Uch? no Maigotchi!? which is based around Tamagotchi.
Yes, that Tamagotchi. The little freaking key chain pet thing that children in the late 90′s would obsess over.
In all honesty, I can see that this would be a good draw for the kids demographic of anime… but if they’re going to do this they might as well release… POGS! The Anime!
