We sit down and talk a little Anime Weekend Atlanta. While not the most news worthy con there was some interesting tidbits such as Funimation’s push to new media and high definition, Bandai’s 4 audio Hayate move, how cons shouldn’t use small rooms for new releases, and Cartoon Network’s decision to finally can Toonami and their anime focus in general.
This of course brought about a big discussion about anime on television in general… which ended up being very roundabout. We chime in quickly about this weeks set of releases and wrap it all up with a look at Otomo’s Steamboy.
