Thats right the always popular anime series that defiantly hasn’t gotten its US rise is certainly getting a US game, as early as September.
Case Closed: The Mirapolis Investigation will be available for the Nintendo Wii only and will feature gameplay pumped up from versions you may find on the Nintendo DS.
Big thanks to Nintendo Wii Fanboy for the news clip and obviously the original article.
Comments are off for this postEpisode #69- Catgirls 2.0!! The Guide to Going Japanese!!

Joining us for this podcast is Vino from Waiting Shadow.
We talked about some interesting series, took a call about Beck, and got an email about a fansub documentary.
After agreeing that Ghost in the Shell 2.0 wasn’t a bad idea… consitering the amount of US help its getting, we talked with Vino about how a US student prepares to travel to Japan for a month of foreign education.
Packed into the second half was a Deal of the Moment, release spotlight, ADV’s mismatched pricing and how its hurting the commoners wallets, and Funimation producing a podcast.
Finally, we took it to the streets with a review of Baldr Force EXE. While this series may come off as a grittier version of the .hack franchise.. its a bit more. While the plot feels crammed together leaving you for more its hardly weak. Great visuals and soundtrack will keep you glued to your seat. Give it a rental if you don’t believe us.
Big thanks to Clint and other fine contributers who make this show better in their own unique and awesome ways!!

Comments are off for this postEpisode #68- Getting High!! The Notes of Death Remake?!

This week we also had a Full Series Review for Big O.
After talking about the good old stuff that we were watching we hit the topic of a US Death Note remake, a new HiME series that won’t star Mai, Gundam painting selling for over $600,000 in Hong Kong and the prospect of a Tamagotchi movie and what would it mean to us.
We talked box sets, ADV’s odd pricing as of late, a little bit of prospective manga.
We rounded it out with a review of the CG anime Vexille. While coming from the people who brought us Appleseed, this movie suffers from the same flaws that most CG movies have but breaks through with above average plot(for a CG movie), really cool action sequences and amazing soundtrack. Worth picking up if you’re a fan of CG movies that aren’t about cars or toys.
Big thanks to Clint and other fine contributers who make this show better in their own unique and awesome ways!!

Comments are off for this postUS Death Note Remake…. urg…

So apparently Vertigo Entertainment(which is not the Vertigo relating to DC Comics) is working on a US adaptation of Death Note. It is not confirmed what type of adaptation will take place but we’re questioning the ability of America to screw up a perfectly good thing.
The production notes for the recent horror films Shutter and The Strangers both reveal that America’s Vertigo Entertainment is developing a remake of the Death Note franchise and has hired Vlas and Charles Parlapanides to write the screenplay.
