Episode #7- Anime Research! The Prospect of Marketing May Conquer!!

PANEL: Chris(132 Productions), Matt

Main Topic:

This week we sat and talked about the commercialization of anime and its pluses and minuses. Anime has been a fan driven commodity, and now commercialization beyond the 4Kids style series with Yu-Gi-Oh underwear and Pokemon fruit snacks. We compare two anime podcasts and discuss the various ways anime is commercialized for better or worse. We also apologize for the background noise in our latest podcast, our studio contained an active Nintendo Wii which we could not move.

Remember, we love emails, message board posts, comments. Send your email to animeshaft@gmail.com. Any email messages(we’ll read ‘em), audio files(we’ll play ‘em) or other questions.
